bark has been used from more than 3000 years in ayurvedic treatment. Arjuna
tree is well known plant for its cardiac benefits. Arjuna tree is found in
India, Sri-Lanka and Myanmar etc.

Arjuna belonging to the family Combretaceae.

Chemical Constituents: Arjuna bark contains mainly triterpene glycosides,
termiarjunoside I and II, arjunetoside, oleanolic acid, arjunolic acid, arjunic
acid and cardenolide along with other constituents.
Uses:

Arjuna is used in disorders of heart and blood vessels and related chest pains.
Also used in high blood pressure and high cholesterol level.
