How to Promote Ayurvedic System of Medicine as a primary treatment option
If
we want to do thing better for this much advanced and practically more proved
ancient system of medicine, then firstly we have to study the factors behind
this.
Once
I was talking to a Vaidya (Ayurvedic Physician), I asked what can Ayurveda
treat that can't be treated by modern medicines.
He
calmly replies to my answer. He said, “Ayurveda don't treat. It only makes our
body or our immune system so strong that any disease can't harm us. Just make
balance between dosha, disease will be automatically eliminated by the
body."
He
gives me a lot of knowledge about how Ayurvedic system works.
Few
steps we can take that can make difference for advancement of Ayurved:
Ø Good
Commercialization: My mean from Good Commercialization is to commercialized the
Ayurvedic system but not for making unnecessary money. Advertisement and
promotion should be in good and helpful manner.
Ø Economical
Medicine: Now a day’s Ayurveda is becoming much costlier than other Systems. We
have to provide cheap and economical medicine to patients so poor patients can
faith in ayurveda.
Ø Effective
Association: Ayurvedic follower i.e. Vaidya, B.A.M.S. doctors, Ayurvedic
Pharmacist or other persons should have effective and properly managed
association like IMA.
Ø Focus
At treatment: Mostly companies only concentrate at herbal cosmetic products.
They don’t want to promote ayurveda for treatment. We have to focus at treatment
provided by ayurveda.
Ayurveda
have to go a long way for establish itself as a primary source of treatment.
