What should be daily routine for a person to live healthy person?


Daily routine of a normal person should be based on to prevent your body from diseases, strengthen tissues and sense organs. Few things a person do in his daily routine to live healthy and happy. Following discussed things are part of Charaka Samhita - A text book of Ayurveda


Ø  Teeth cleaning: Plants that are recommended for tooth cleaning are Karanja, Karavira, Arka, Jati, Kakubha, Asana and similar plants.

Ø  Tongue Scraper: Dirt that has deposited at tongue surface, should be clean regularly, hence tongue scraper should use. It should be non sharp and U-shaped (curved).

Ø  Mouth Refreshing: Fruits of Jati, Kakuta, Puga and Lavanga, leaves of Betel, exudates of Camphor and fruits of smaller Cardamom can be used for mouth refreshing and mouth health.

Ø  Oil Gargle: Oil gargles are also an ancient procedure which strengthens the jaw and voice, development of face, maximum taste and relish in food. Also prevent from tooth problems.

Ø  Oiling of Head: This prevents from headache, graying of hair and baldness. Also provide strength to skull, sense organs become cheerful, sound sleep and happiness. Oil should be done only with purely ayurvedic oil daily.

Ø  Oiling of Ears: Daily oiling of ears with herb’s oil prevent ear from diseases. Also prevent from hard hearing and deafness.

Ø  Oil massage of Body: Oil massage of body strengthens body. Makes firm, smooth skinned and free from any disturbance. Oil medicated massage if done regularly prevents from aging.

Ø  Oil massage of Feet: Feet massage provides lot of benefits to body. Feet massage is beneficial for coarseness, stiffness, roughness, fatigue and numbness of feet. Clarity of vision can be attained.

Ø  Rubbing of Body: Alleviates foul smell, heaviness, drowsiness, itching, dirt and anorexia.

Ø  Bathing: Purifying, aphrodisiac, life promoting, and destroyer of fatigue, sweat and dirt.

Ø  Clean Clothing: Enhance charm, fame and life span. A person should always wear cleaned cloth.

Ø  Cleaning Feet and excretory orifices: Promote intelligence, purity, and longevity.

Ø  Shaving and hair dressing: Nutritive, aphrodisiac, life-promote, provides cleanliness and beautification.


Ø  Exercise: Provides body movement which is meant for producing firmness.
